As an EPAL-licensed wooden pallet manufacturer, we adhere to the strictest guidelines and requirements in the pallet manufacture and trade, which always guarantee the quality and safety of our products.
Our goods are inspected at each stage of production, while our experienced employees constantly monitor the process.
Euro pallet is a wooden pallet with four entry ways, manufactured in accordance with the European standard. This official design of euro pallets can be identified by its specific markings.
Pallet manufacture is strictly controlled in order to ensure a continuous high level of quality. The European Pallet Association (EPAL) certifies approved manufacturers, and Visa-Prom d.o.o. is the sole EPAL pallet manufacturer in Serbia due to its connections with EPAL.
Our wooden pallets are used by companies in all sectors of the industry across Serbia for safe and sustainable transport of their goods through the supply chain.
Pallets are the most commonly used type of transport packaging worldwide. Pallets have changed over time, from the moment they first appeared until today. Pallets differ according to shape, size, purpose, type of material from which they are made, construction qualities, etc.
Our company is technically equipped to offer clients pallets with a load capacity ranging from 300 kg to 1500 kg, and in case special transport of heavier loads is needed, we can produce the corresponding pallets, and obtain certificates of their dynamic and static load capacity from certification bodies.
In addition to a modern wood-processing line, we are also equipped with a thermal treatment chamber in accordance with the ISPM 15 standard, which enables uninterrupted export of goods to Russia, European Union countries, and many other markets.
Due to the growing need of the market for dry pallets where the moisture percentage is below 22%, dry pallets have been included in the offer at customers’ request. 480,000 pallets were produced last year, mostly for domestic customers, including the largest domestic companies, whereas a small portion was exported/box pallets.
Our pallets are sold on the markets of Serbia, Hungary, Germany and Austria, while they are used to transport goods across the globe.
These activities are aimed at obtaining prismatic sharp-edged wooden elements from the cylindrical natural shape of the log. Cutting includes a series of horizontal and vertical cuts of the wood structure.
All the elements required for wooden pallet assembly are obtained from the sawmill facility.
The following two videos show how automated and manual assembly of wooden pallets is carried out.
By constantly investing in production capacities, the wooden pallet production facility has been modernized with a new machine for automated pallet assembly. This has resulted in a dramatic increase of pallet production capacities. The daily production limit has been increased to about 2,000 assembled pallets, which in total amounts to approximately 480,000 wooden pallets per year.
The most widespread exchange pallet in the world.
There are several types of pallets on the market today, made of various materials. The most common are undoubtedly wooden and plastic ones. We are going to compare these two types of pallets and identify the benefits of the wooden ones.
As for the weight of pallets, an EPAL 1 type wooden pallet weighs 25kg, whereas plastic ones are much heavier.
Wooden pallets do not produce electrostatic discharge unlike plastic ones, which can affect the functioning of electrical devices transported on them.
Wooden pallets are antibacterial, as they contain substances which kill microorganisms, whereas the presence of several types of bacteria has been detected on plastic ones.
Wooden pallets can be manufactured in several sizes, whereas the manufacture of plastic ones is not flexible, and is limited to several standard dimensions for mass production.
Wooden pallets are 100% recyclable, unlike plastic ones which are 100% non-degradable and have adverse effects on nature.
Wooden pallets can be repaired and reused, whereas the repair of plastic ones is either not possible or very expensive.
Compliance with the ISPM 15 standard is the most important requirement for unrestricted use of load carriers in the international trade of goods. EPAL wooden load carriers are manufactured and repaired in accordance with the strict IPPC (International Plant Protection Convention) standard and can therefore be used abroad.
Starting from 01.01.2010, all newly-manufactured EPAL Euro pallets undergo thermal treatment in line with the ISPM 15.
EPAL Euro pallets are tested in accordance with the ISPM 15 and can be identified by the markings on both central blocks on the long sides.
The IPPC standard guarantees that live fungi, microorganisms or insects will not be exported.
Almost all our pallets have been processed in accordance with the IPPC ISPM 15 standard. The treatment is purely thermal, without the use of chemicals.
The treatment of EPAL Euro pallets using methyl bromide (MB) is prohibited.
